Take our Digital Security Survey!

Help in our research to make online safety and digital security training more understandable and useful for us - the users.

Thanks for taking part in a survey which could be the start of something big! The survey should take only 3 minutes and is totally anonymous.

We, 'the people', are often seen as the weakest link in an organisation's online vulnerability, whether that be data theft, financial theft or ransom attacks. This often results in more pointless, top-down training given to us.

But if our working lives and motivations were properly understood and training advice was tailored to us more, we would become a powerful army of defenders of any security system against the cyber criminals!

Research funded by the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology

The CyberCAKE project aims to make all our online lives at work and in our communities safer from cyber criminals

By gaining a greater understanding of user motivations, we aim to provide:

  • An easy way for you to assess your personal digital security and readiness.
  • An easy-to-use toolkit to see your online safety personality type.
  • A jargon-free digital security learning plan tailored for you.
  • Putting pressure on organisations to create a blame-free and safe environment for the reporting of our online safety concerns.
  • Digital security training which works for us first and foremost.

So a big thanks to you for being part of this. The project is funded by the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology to develop strong digital security skills for people and communities.
